"new year" new reality

as you are aware I believe "birthdays" are the beginning of everyone's new year. in my chosen spiritual belief the Norse calendar is only 5 day weeks. I have been practicing Rune master since 1995, and a devote worshiper of Freyja. Just recently Thor has become part of my  personal pantheon. I am looking into Freyr. Having received my Godi certification from the American Vinland Association, and my rune master accreditation from Eldred Thorrson's Run Guild. I realized there was someone I was failing to bond with, Odin. the master of the runes and magick. when I changed my name to show its runic values I spelled it k-e-a-t-h. the runes are kenaz, ehwaz, ansuz, thwaz and halaglaz. Ansuz is the rune of Odin.Did you ever walk into a patio glass door.? I believe I was chosen to be a rune master from birth, I was born on the 9th month, 3rd day, 3 hour. My social security number is even 2664 2+6+6+4= 18= 9 the runic holy number.now I am re-reading ALL my rune materials and doing more castings...new reality..kith and kin I advise the same, a rut is not a ditch it is a grave.

Samhaim (Halloween) fun

3 men in dresses, one way too short, not kilts or sarongs, not bi-sexual or transgender..do not know what or why all I know is I am no longer any version of eclectic it seem like a excuse to be weird or just strange, lacking basics. and this CUUPs group appeared to have lost this. I like being taken seriously but I also do not desert friends unless they lose it. I now fully understand why Merlin lived the way he did.

movie review / last witch hunter

RUN DO NOT WALK to this movie..it was really good .they did A lot of things I had not seen before in 60 years of movie watching . it was climatically as good as Hansel and Gretel witch hunters and The Seventh Son. Vin Diesel is not a Fast and Furious persona rolled over to a witch movie. he is a mature caractor, uses common sense in his work and spell working and appears older and wiser. Not a Vin Diesel fan per  se and would have liked an older grey haired person to do the part but it was worth the money, the actor who played his second played Alfred in the Christian Bale Batman series, both were good together and you will love the Ipod vs the leather bound book of shadows "controversy", I have both. Go and be inspired, do not wait for Redbox or netflix, you will miss a lot of good detail. FANTASTIC SAMHAIN (Halloween celebration )MOVIE take your favorite eclectic or new age girl or guy...you will have fun!!!

sorry I have not been around more but living the life of Merlin in this day and age is very busy. there are meetings and classes to keep my Master Gardener credentials. Democratic party. Black Cacuas meetings. keeping my editorial cartooning blog going. and of course working grave-shift. taking care of the dogs and chickens and the garden, I am working trying to set up the flowers to be the ones to aide beneficial insects and grow so the pollinators travel the whole yard not just one area. then there are interpersonal relationships...bla..bla. The main thing now is setting up the Albuquerque Pagan Pride Harvest Festival, I am down to the small things ,signs parking spots but this Sunday should be good.it is the only festival i really do however I really should start attending the small local rituals, not going to find a female heathen to be interpersonal with being a fake solitaire also going to re-join the union, several city councilors are supporting me for head of the Bernillio County Democratic Party chairmanship. looking to retire in 3 years and finding a nice partime job working a bar or nursery. I have a kindle and nook accounts,and a library of books by Alester Crowley the Karma sutra, Book of the Dead and of course all my Norse Vanuatu. we all should have these books special to your walk in hard copy and electronic, and like in my last post books you have not read in more than 5 years re-read.Been doing a lot of cartoons and am trying to get syndicated. gonna really try to do a post here every time I do a cartoon.. that is my oath

I have been going back reading FUTHARK the Poetic and Prose Eddas Alister Crowley's writings and also watching some old TV. saw about 2 minutes of the TV show Bewitched. Elizabeth Montgomery was the star. I lost interest when the Daren's switched but this episode had some really good funny parts. A grown salesman had gotten turned into a pre teen by Tabitha. Samantha was trying to convince the boy witchcraft was real . She pointed to a pot with flowers and said "see that pot". she flicked her finger like she was counting to 1 and totally destroyed the pot. The boy looked at her and said "no wonder you people had a hard time at Salem". We have forgotten that insulting people is not the only form of humor. dust off your old books, lets not be like christians and repeat history.rememder the most important witch in your life is in the mirror.

Webster's New World Dictionary defines lonley as "unhappy at being alone. Solitary is defined as being "secluded". So just reading the words tells you what your mind set should be. Lonley is walking down the street in the rain, a dark night ,no cars, no sounds, suddenly a cat runs out of a alley you almost wet yourself. behind you a car, driving slowly, it is following you, suddenly it speeds up! something flies out at you! its a newspaer it was the paper boy! now you have to change your shorts. Solitary is being in the woods with some friends. Leaving the group you find a spot sit and listen to the sounds, focuse your mind on what concerns there are, or just breath.75% of the witches and warlocks are solitary, when we do spell planning, ritual planning, cleaning and rearranging our alters.You are lonley when you don't like someone or something walk away and do not seek couciling, especally from your divination choice and God / Goddess  

how to ID zombies in your "coven"

as you are all aware I firmly believe we are living in the zombie Apocalypse right now as I type this. To give you better insight I consider the term Lemming the same, I have recently left a group I was affiliated with for 7 years because I realized it was 70% zombies and the host church was feeding off them with out religious conviction. which makes that organization psychic vampyres. Here are the signs
1) repetitive events with no signs of growth,
2) no membership drive or outreach to old members
3) inability to start a new project, or appreciate one.
4) no new growth in the leadership
5) no rituals or gatherings to do healing rituals or celebrate newborns.
6) accepting the loss of valuable items, including people, with out open regret, ie; sending e-mails not phone calls.
Organizations that feed on these groups are in all areas, churches, political organizations, car clubs, etc. there signs are as follows,
1) imposing dues without regard to specific situations,
2) more concerned with petty personal problems within group than problems that address real growth.
3) money as the key issue.
4) no allowance for one time change in the standard routine. This is very obvious with individuals in places of power.
solution, leave, it is better to be solitary than put your vital energy into these traps. you will grow more moving from one event to another or attending different rituals, you will maintain your edge and see things more clearly.

how to tell if it is a animal signs

There are frogs and birds everywhere.yet they are the source of this mystic information. The first thing to observe is the type of animal. A common house cat on the street or under your car is no real sign. But sitting on the roof or hood is. Cats rarely climb on cars regardless of how cold it is out side and  how warm the engine is. I was driving down the street yesterday ( 3-31-15) and saw a frog hopping across the street. In the high desert there is little rain so a frog is unusual, it also being tan in color, definate omen. Roadrunners crossing the street, no mattet how busy or large, in the high desert , not big deal. However when i was sitting in my truck talking to a friend and a roadrunner jumped up on his car while the engine was running made it a definitely a sign. So any indigenous animal can be a sign but remember to study the environment and circumstance too.

Someone, not a Witch, or Satanist some one with thick glasses and a overbite looked at the census across the country and found that Atheists, Wiccans, Kindred, Agnostic, New Age out number Christians 3 to one. So lets say they, WE, formed the third party, we voted our beliefs, and life style. It is not just dancing in circles at Beltane, we exist at Farmer markets, Craft Fairs, we drive Catering trucks, work to save endangered or injured wild animals, I am in Law Enforcement met a pagan tow truck driver, do you really think the congress of the united States would be full of old white millionaires, Black folks sitting on their hands, yes I am 60 years old and Black, are there any Asian (American) representatives? Sooo as fast as a person can change their mind we could take over this country. Eldred Thorrsen for President? Freya Aswyn for President...? not fantasy simple fact.

GO SEE the movie Seventh Son !!! it is a sword and sorcery witch hunter movie. Jeff Bridges  is absolutely funny and the person he plays is a great non magical hunter. the people into dragons, animals into dragons effects are incredible. all the witches especially in my peer group (45-60) are beautiful. no gratuitous tits and ass and DO NOT BLINK!! what the movie Van Helsing did with morphing clothes into wings this movie did 100 times better. Most of the fights were between supernatural beings and humans but the Runes, herbs and metals humans used to fight are accurate to today. Definitely going to see it again and it is destine for my collection

as you are aware we are living in the Zombie Apocolips right now. the Websters dictionary defines a zombie as "a person who does things without thinking" I add to that "of the consequences"the vast number of zombies are in both political parties, all subsets and in all major "organized religions".When it is time to vote, vote for city councilors, you can go to the city council meetings or city hall and look them in the face, bond issues and propositions. These are where your tax dollars go and NO ONE can play games with it. Zoos Libaries and receational centers. work on streets and sanitation.Get a copy of the ballot, cleanse yourself, read each one cast your tarot and or Runes trust the reading and vote how you are guided. We can not save the world till money is replaced by bartering, but we can make things happen in their system.

been way too long since I was here. BUT there is a movie coming out that is EXACTLY the time, place environment I love, The Seventh Son, everything about the previews make me think this is another of several movies I would like to live in. Lord of the rings trilogy, the 2 Hobbit movies, the Sorcerers Apprentice, the first two Matrix. All are worlds and environments I really like..oh all three Underworlds. just did a Disting blot, went well all but one person seemed to enjoy it. mental note, MORE MEAD, Oh join Lotus Tarot the greatest tarot site ever!! Watch Gotham, Watch Constantine, once you get past it being done with British actors, and how it is a lot like the Dresdine files it is quite good. put all these movies as inspirations and you will be a great surviving wizard during this zombie apocalyptic era.Do your meditations, trust what the runes say, love Freyja madly respect Thor to a fault.
